Week 22
Mostly just photos this week. (and not much for next week - I just have to catch up with my bookwork!)
Frank and Pam visiting from Melbourne (and France). They are extreme travellers and adapted to boat life quite well. It might have been more relaxed if we had 2 months instead of 6 days, but we managed to fit quite a bit in - in between restaurants and marathon training! We were blessed with good weather and I was so pleased to be able to use the boat with such good company. And, of course, all due to the good graces of Janny, who can manage the business all on her own, if required. (I couldn't!).

Who would have thought? 30 odd years later....
Starting at Felder's Boskje (Wijnjewoude) and finishing up at Heerenveen.
In rather typical "can-do" fashion, Frank had ensured that there were folding bicycles on board - by buying them in Melbourne and bringing them all the way here!
First night at Oldeberkoop
Not a restaurant or shop open, so we had to improvise with food. Pam was rather alarmed that so many people from the "Rustplaats" family had died and were buried at the local cemetery... a good laugh when I told her that it means "Resting Place", in Dutch.
Refuelling at Langelille
2nd night at Ossenzijl
3rd Night at Blokzijl
4th night at Driewegsluis
Complete with BBQ, sunset and a swim!
5th night at Boornzwaag
Bentley parked outside the toilet block - so sad!
6th Night outside Terherne
With a strong on-shore wind necessitating some thought about using ropes, motor and rudder to get us off.
Shower improvisation...
Some sights along the way...
Say hello to Frank, when is he going to settle down. We are in Singspore at the moment, on return from a cruise around Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Lucky Mr. Kim's missiles missed us in the Sea of Japan.
